How attached are you to the outcome of having something going your way when putting out your intentions?

Think about something right now that you really, really want…I mean you want it soooo bad that it has to happen.

Now, that you have that in your mind I want you to get in tune with your body to sense what you are feeling. Do you feel a tension in your shoulders? Or maybe a sinking feeling in your stomach. Really stop to see where the heavy energy shows up in your body. 

Resistance is the #1 thing that keeps people stuck from manifesting their true desires in business or in life.

Let me give you a couple situations:

You are getting ready to close a deal with a client and you feel that it has to happen otherwise you won’t be able to pay your bills.

You just started dating someone and feel desperate to make it work because all the other relationships you have had in the past have failed.

You are stuck in your business and can’t figure out how to attract more clients/sales and you tell yourself if this doesn’t work nothing else will.

You are frustrated with your body and want to look and feel better but no matter what you do nothing works. The frustration sets in and you think the next thing you try has to work or you will never reach your goals.

This is resistance – thinking and feeling this way will always keep you stuck. The secret is to be in the place of letting go and allow yourself to receive. 

Now, I know you are probably saying “But Heather I NEED to pay my bills”! Trust me I have been there, not knowing how I would pay my bills and feeling so much resistance I found myself digging a bigger hole. 

My secret to letting go was when I learned to surrender and that’s when things turned around. I also just accepted my situation. When you can accept where you are at, miracles can and do happen. I remember years ago when my rent was due and I didn’t have the money, I started to panic. I was very fearful and started crying and beating up on myself for even being in the situation. Then in a moment I heard my inner voice saying “Let go…everything will work out,” I released some of my fear and it allowed me to open up to a soul-tion…and within a few days I was able to manifest the money. It was absolutely amazing and it taught me how to really let go in my deepest moments of fear and uncertainty. 

What I love doing now is helping other entrepreneurs look into this fear, let go and show them step-by-step how to create soul-tions by one of the techniques I call a “GPS”. This process allows you to look into the fear, let go, and create a soul-tion. I use this process when things come up both in my business and personal life and it absolutely amazes me every time how easy it really is to let go.

The secret is you have to be in practice of letting go to master it. Of course I always have challenges or bumps in my life but using this process allows me to turn things around faster than ever before in my life!

What you think you become so it’s important that you keep your thoughts ALWAYS on the end result. There will always be road bumps along the way and the important thing to remember is to keep going no matter what.

Here are some powerful keys:

1. Focused attention to your intentions. I have an intention ring. It is a reminder everyday to always be true to myself and my business. It has a great little inscription that says “Be true to your dreams…” The power of thought and written intention is extremely powerful. If you saw the movie, “What the Bleep Do We Know” where Dr. Emoto took some samples of water and wrote the words “Love and Appreciation” on one of the bottles, then wrote the words “You make me sick” on the other. When viewed under a powerful microscope the water with “love and appreciation” written on it was this amazing snowflake image. However the word “You make me sick” looked very distorted and messy.

The point is if thoughts can change the molecular structure of water…what do you think they can do to you? Think about it.

2. Keep your intentions under lock and key. This I have found extremely helpful when living the law of attraction. Along the way, I have come across so many negative naysayers and I had made the mistake of letting these people try to crush my intentions. I realized after many painful incidents to keep these intentions close to my heart and to only share with others that I knew I could trust and that are supportive. This is especially true if you have a spouse, family, or friends that have the attitude “I will believe it when I see it.” That is why it’s so important to NEVER let them know what your dreams are because they will be the first ones to steal them away. 3. Practice daily your Law of Attraction. Find ways to center yourself and connect with your intentions through different ways. I love practicing different methods and here are a few:

Guided meditation or to soft music

Subliminal cds (love this!)

Asking with clarity (being very specific and writing down your intentions)

Support groups for LOA and spiritual growth. There are tons of groups online and in person that you can join that increase the power of your manifestation.
