I know all about getting stuck….trust me.

In fact, for years I was stuck in my business, relationships, and body. It seemed like no matter what I did I would get stuck and stay there and it was not a fun place. One of the things I love helping entrepreneurs with is getting unstuck because it so easy to get stuck and not so easy to get out unless you have the right tools and can apply them.

I want to address one of the stuck issues that most entrepreneurs have and it’s only seeing one perspective. Let me give you an example.

You: I am so stuck and I am just getting by in my business.

Me: What have you done to get unstuck?

You: I try thinking positive but nothing is working.

Me: It’s not about thinking positive..it’s how you are looking at the situation. So why do you think you are stuck?

You: I always felt I had to struggle. I come from a family where paying your dues is something you do to get ahead.

Me: Do you realize that is a belief they have imposed on you and that you don’t have to accept that as truth?

Being stuck is a CHOICE.

Once you realize you have been taking on other people’s beliefs you can change. The problem is trying to do it on your own is very hard. I know I tried reading every book I could get my hands on and it didn’t work.

What worked was having a mentor or being in a program that could give me the support I needed. It’s the fastest way to get unstuck. I didn’t have the money at the time but I knew NOTHING was going to change unless I affirmed that I would change and would do ANYTHING to make it happen. Once I AFFIRMED that I was going to do it the money came to me to pay for the program.

Then I went to the next level and hired a coach for one on one mentoring which was way out of my price range, ($15,000) so I could move faster and take an even bigger leap in my business. Whoa, did that feel extremely uncomfortable but again…I AFFIRMED that I would be able to pay it and had no idea how that was going to happen and it did.

I even had a $20,000 debt that I had only been able to pay the interest on for years and finally I was able to pay that off. I remember agonizing over it and every time I would think about the debt my stomach would knot up. It was when I DECIDED that I would SHIFT my focus to abundance and prosperity that I paid it off in less than 6 months with more money in the bank then I ever had in my entire life!

Let me tell you to get unstuck you don’t even have to be the smartest person. I struggled through high school with a C average. Then, when I went to college I almost got kicked out my first year! IQ has nothing to do with how much money you can make.

I know there are surveys out there telling you that educated people typically make more money which I would agree but not entirely. I know people that have graduated at the top of their class and are jobless or making very little.

In fact, my father graduated from college with a C average and created a very successful fiberglass business which now he just sold and travels all around the world. It’s funny because even with his success I was still stuck and couldn’t figure out how to get out of it until I AFFIRMED I was going to find a way no matter what!

What keeps most people stuck is that you’re looking at the lack instead of creating prosperity and they refuse to get help. It’s a slow climb trying to do this without someone who can guide you and get you out of your own way. If you have been stuck for more than a few months and are not getting help then it’s a good chance you will stay there. I am giving you a wake-up call and permission to start taking charge of your life and stop giving yourself excuses. You deserve to be happy and prosperous and you don’t have to do it alone..I promise.

Being stuck is a choice..so what is yours?

Many people are losing their jobs and looking to start a business. Many
people email me on how can they start a business in this economy.  If
you look back even in the Depression era some businesses were thriving. 
If you get caught up in the doom and gloom of the economy you will
surely find that your business will never take off.

What I suggest is you look to see how you can be different and what you
have to offer your business that others do not have.  We talk about this in

Here’s how you can create a magnetic business in any economy:
Find something that you love because doing a business just to make money
is always short lived.

1. Sell your passion:

2. Is there a market for you business:  Make sure you do your
homework to find out if people would want your service or product.

3. Create a system: Many people are working in their business instead
of on.  Focus on creating a system so your business runs on autopilot. 
Hire people or do trades for things that are not your strengths.

4. Surface up the beliefs that are blocking your success:  Ask
yourself what is your biggest obstacle for your success.  Being aware of
these blocks is the first step to releasing them.

5. Hire a mentor and get help for direction:  This was my #1 secret in
helping my business.

I remember being so stuck and even after investing thousands of dollars on
seminars and books I still was struggling.  When I hired a mentor it changed
my life and no longer was I worrying about money, in fact taking that leap
allowed me to increase my business beyond what I ever thought was
possible in very little time!

Don’t let the naysayers drag you down!

In order to take a quantum leap for your business or any other
area of your life you must do the following:

1. Have a radical departure from your habits
   and beliefs that are NOT serving you.  

Look at your behaviors and attitudes right now and
what needs to be changed.  Your current behaviors
and attitudes are your biggest obstacle
that is keeping from having a Quantum Leap.

1. Take action that makes you feel uncomfortable.

It is not about taking safe steps like you have been
doing now. Telling yourself you are going to do it
once you have the money will not create a Quantum
Leap.

This is where people have a challenge because they
are comfortable being stuck and fearful of changing. 
Look into fear and make it your friend.  

1. Think outside of the box. Taking leaps always comes
   from looking outside of the box to soul-tions that are
   always within.   Give yourself some space to allow
   opportunities to come to you and they will.
